The third time is usually a charm but when you get a turkey in bowling, the third strike in a row, well that’s just plain skill. Original anime Turkey!, named after the bowling term, was announced today alongside a teaser poster showing off the characters of the anime and Chikuma City in Nagano Prefecture from the view of Obasute Station.
The tagline of the poster and original project is “Fun doesn’t begin to describe our story.”

The Turkey! anime project is being spearheaded by Pony Canyon and Tatsunoko Production’s label BAKKEN RECORD. The anime will be set in Chikuma City, Nagano Prefecture, with a story by live-action drama writer Naomi Hiruta with character designs from Airi Takekawa (“Ippon” Again!). The music will be produced by Pony Canyon with the animation produced at BAKKEN RECORD. The format of the anime has not been confirmed.
No release date or format for the anime has been confirmed.
